SoundLab: Spring Break Edition (Ages 10–16)

SoundLab: Spring Break Edition is an immersive, week-long creative music experience for young musicians and creators ages 10–16. Designed for students who love music, storytelling, and technology, SoundLab gives participants the opportunity to write, record, and perform original music while collaborating with peers in a supportive, studio-style environment.

Throughout the week, students explore songwriting, composition, recording techniques, sound design, and basic music production, working toward a shared creative goal. Depending on the group’s interests, campers will collaborate on either a short film with an original soundtrack or a mini rock musical, learning how music and story come together in real-world creative projects.

SoundLab emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and artistic ownership. Students take on meaningful roles—such as composer, performer, lyricist, sound designer, or producer—while being guided step by step by an experienced music educator. The week culminates in a final showcase for families, where students share their finished work and reflect on their creative process.

This camp is ideal for students with basic musical experience (voice or instrument) who are ready to explore creativity beyond traditional lessons and ensembles.

SoundLab isn’t just a camp—it’s a place where young artists discover their voice, build confidence, and create something they’re proud of.
